On Wednesday, April 4, 2018, President of the University of Zakho, Assistant Professor Dr. Lazgin A. Jameel, participated in 51st Conference of Arab Association Universities which was held in Beirut/Lebanon. It is worth mentioning that many panel discussions on developing scientific level of universities and role of universities in societies took place. Likewise, meeting about future plans and projects were held. Furthermore, the President of the University of Zakho met with presidents of Arab universities, and professionals as President of Islamic University in Beirut, Ms. Dunya Almaqali, and Mr. Siltan Abu A'arabi, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Universities.

In conclusion, it is worthwhile to note that the conference lasted for two days, with the participation of presidents of Kurdistan universities; Ishik University, Salahaddin University, and Cihan University- Erbil).
